A solution shipper,
who cares deeply about both engineering and design.

Hey, this is Lingxi Li. 👋
Based in SF. Focused on full-stack design engineering, innovative agentic solutions, scalable AI systems, and every aspect of your experience. I enjoy crafting software that is predictable, scalable, rigorous, and beautiful.

I am a Renaissance Engineer — caring details, going deep, and being creative.
I have a wide range of expertise, while still going deep into most of them. No matter if the problems are related to mathematical algorithms or visual experiences, I tend to thoroughly investigate the underlying rationales, resolving them more effectively than anticipated. That depth also extends to human interface and software system design, where I chase clarity, coherence, and perfection in everything I build.

My philosophy of building exceptional software is to "build once and run forever".
It's not about starting with complexity. It's about keeping scalability in mind so the simplest version can grow without disruption. When we move fast, this might feel impractical, but building things the right way actually buys me more time for real challenges, not endless refactors and cognitive burdens. Even the most minimal approach can scale infinitely if it follows the right practices.

I uphold a unique balance between engineering and design.
In all of my works, I combine high-taste visual quality with reliable, high-standards engineering. It's the ideal blend for a product-oriented, opinionated, design-first full-stack engineer. That balance makes me deeply customer-obsessed and highly attentive to the end-to-end experience.

Outside of work, I enjoy ping-pong, strategic board games, the gym, and road trips.
I believe work-life balance actually boosts productivity and happiness in building great software. It doesn't mean shipping less — it means working smarter, so you ship more. Passion drives everything, and passion only lasts when you feel satisfied, rested, and energized.
